Musician, Company H, 43rd Regiment Infantry. Mustered for nine
months service on September 20, 1862. Discharged on July 30, 1863,
expiration of service. Mustered on January 14, 1864 as Private in
Company I, 1st. Regiment Cavalry for three years service. Re-enlisted
as Private for three years in Company I, 1st Regiment Cavalry, N. H.
on January 14, 1864. Wounded in May of 1864. Appointed as Corporal on
September 18, 1864. Killed on October 1, 1864 near Petersburg, Virginia. |

Private, Company G, 1st Regiment Infantry. Mustered for three
years service on September 1, 1862. Taken prisoner of war on May 3,
1863 at Chancellorsville, Virginia. His body was burned in the woods
which were set on fire. No further record of survival. |
